A local trust is carrying out a survey about the needs of the LGBT community in the area on a range of topics
The Diversity Trust, based in Somerset, has been asked by the Avon and Somerset Police and Crime Commissioner, Sue Mountstevens, and by the Bristol Recovery Orientated Alcohol and Drug Service (Bristol ROADS) to find out about the needs of the local Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans communities on a range of topics including domestic abuse and substance misuse.
To help the trust to carry out the task, they have designed a survey aimed at service providers working with LGBT and Trans communities across the country.
The survey is designed to find out about interventions with LGB and Trans communities, and to assess the need for targeted and / or specialist interventions.
The survey runs until 1st September, and can be found online.
