Sights and Sounds of Bristol Pride 2015

Thousands of people joined in Bristol’s Pride celebrations for 2015, with organisers declaring it has been the “biggest yet” with at least 4,500 people taking part in the parade.

Thousands more had attended the festival event being held in the city’s Castle Park which featured more than 40 acts including Tina Cousins – best known for her hit Mysterious Times, Kym Mazelle – famous for hits with Soul II Soul, X Factor’s Amelia Lily, La Voix and Justin Utley, along with headliner’s ‘Cheryl, Mike & Jay formerly of Bucks Fizz’ and Heather Small.

Social Media became an important part of visitor’s day with the hashtag #BristolPride becoming a Trending Topic in Bristol for 14 hours.

Bristol’s very own LGBT radio show – Shoutout – once again broadcast the whole festival live throughout the day, and you can listen again to the whole show on their website.
