The organisers of the annual Bristol Pride festival are holding their first ever Gala Ball in the city and will also be presenting Pride Awards to members of the local community.
Taking place on Saturday 31 October, the organisers want to showcase some of the great work and people in the city whilst celebrating Pride, community and of course partying for Halloween!
The event will start at 7pm where attendees will be greeted with a reception of a free drink on arrival, and an acrobatics show as they settle at the tables and then enjoy a sumptuous 3 course meal with awards ceremony followed by a special masquerade ball in the beautiful Marriott Royal hotel on College Green.
There will be special performances and entertainment through the night including jugglers, acrobatics, DJ after-party and more.
As we as a number of local businesses, law firms and sponsors we are pleased to be joined on the evening by the Rt Honourable Lord Mayor of Bristol who will also be presenting awards on the evening.
The event will also feature the first ever Pride Awards on the night which include recognition for best LGBT staff network, best employer, best Local Law Firm and LGBT Friendly Visitor Attraction. There will also be special Pride awards for performers, volunteers, sponsors and supporters.
Nominations for the Bristol’s most LGBT+ friendly visitor attraction is hotly contested by locations such as SS Great Britain, AtBristol, The Watershed and Bristol Zoo
