Bent Double is Komedia's gay friendly stand up comedy night that has built up a loyal following bigger than Imelda Marcos' shoe collection.

A group in Bristol is launching a new 'Queer Cafe' with the desire to create DIY alternatives to the cities mainstream gay scene.

Leading gay friendly arts and entertainment organisation Komedia has announced the opening of its brand new venue in Bath, which will present an eclectic programme of shows from the very best comedians on the circuit to touring musical acts and cabaret shows all year round. The venue is set to open on Thursday 13 November 2008.
