A Salisbury Based Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Charity could be housed in a permanent base if plans develop around a possible new base in the city.

The South West is to hold its first ever dedicated diversity and equality recruitment careers event. Diversity Careers takes place on the 14th October in the @Bristol Centre and features top employers from all over the UK keen to show their support to diversity and equality in the workplace.

On Saturday 9th July 2011, the beginning of Bristol Pride week BCFM's ShoutOut show will be taking to the airwaves for a whole day of broadcasting aimed at the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community and their friends.

Pride Bristol are giving away tickets to community groups, housing associations and charities whose service users may not be able to afford to buy them.

HIV and sexual health charity Terrence Higgins Trust (THT) has been granted £203,528 of funding from the Department for Education to deliver vital new sex and relationships education (SRE) within schools and youth organisations in England.
