LGBT Health Summit to be held in Bristol
On September 4th and 5th the national Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) health summit will be held in Bristol. The third annual summit aims to raise the profile of LGBT people in the UK and the health inequalities they face. The event is being hosted by Terrence Higgins Trust and Equality South West.

Bristol's Mini-Pride set for August Bank Holiday
Shay Malt who runs Push, the polysexual funk night at Flamingos, is organising BristoLove a one-day, one-off event taking place in Old Market. Billed as a ‘festival against homophobia and hate crime’, Shay has been working with other club night promoters – including Bernie from Wonky and the boys from Duchess– to ensure that the day has something for everyone.

Bush Trimming Row
Work planned by Bristol City Council to clear undergrowth has caused concern to it's own LGB advisory group.
Scrub & undergrowth clearance work beside Circular Road on Bristol's Downs has been planned for some years following compaints from some Downs users regarding "inappropriate sexual activity".
