New Support Network for Transgenders
Over the last 40 years, more than 5,000 people in Britain have successfully changed sex. Many are now successfully living in their now recognised gender, but there’s little doubt that most if not all transgender people will experience harassment and discrimination because of their gender identity at some point in their lives.

The Bears come to Town
With no Pride or Mardi Gras event taking place in Bristol in 2008, it's once again down to the Bristol Bear Fiesta to show the gay community that the city really does know how to party. BBF is now in its fifth year, and chief organiser Niall Milligan has lined up the busiest three days so far in the festival's history, with more venues, more events and hopefully more people visiting than ever before.
