UK Gay Pride Events
The gay pride or Mardi Gras events have three main premises: that people should be proud of their sexual orientation and gender identity, that sexual diversity is a gift, and that sexual orientation and gender identity are inherent and cannot be intentionally altered. Marches celebrating Pride (pride parades) are celebrated worldwide.
Most major cities in the UK now have some sort of celebration event, whether it be a small scale gathering or a full-blown weeklong series of events. Here is a list of Pride or Mardi Gras events planned for 2015
Local gay pride events take place in Bristol on July 11th, and Swindon on August 8th, where we will have full coverage of the variety of events planned and all the details needed for you to enjoy the day.
