EACH Hosts National Cyberbullying & Prejudice Conference

EACH, The Bristol based homophobia charity is hosting a national cyberbullying & prejudice conference on Tuesday 13th May.
Taking place at The Thistle Grand Hotel in Bristol, the conference, hosted in partnership with the Bullying Intervention Group, is designed to inform and support professionals working with young people helping them comply with legal duties under the Equality Act 2010 and meet requirements within Ofsted’s Inspection Framework 2012. Confirmed speakers include Andy Baker, Deputy Chief Executive of the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP) and John Carr – Chair, UK Council for Child Internet Safety.
The conference is highly relevant to school senior leadership teams, pastoral, inclusion and behavioural leads, school governors, educational psychologists, youth workers, social workers and other professionals supprting young people. Delegates will have the opportunity to participate in talks,workshops and panel discussions covering topics including: Sexting, Homophobic and transphobic bullying, Cyberbullying and e-safety, Resilience and accessing online support & Children and young people’s online behaviours.
