It’s finally here – Bristol’s Pride Day, One of the biggest Bristol festivals. Follow all the news, pictures, information and social media updates here LIVE.

The day consists of over 46 acts across 3 stages plus community & family areas, bar, food concessions and market stalls, a parade will stretch from the City’s Queen Square before arriving at Castle Park where the festival is taking place. Bristol’s Community Radio Station, BCFM, will be broadcasting live from 12noon direct from the park.

The day’s events start with the Parade, leaving Queen’s Square at 11:15. Those wishing to join in the parade should start gathering from 11:00. The parade will then make it’s way to ‘The Centre’, before following Baldwin Street, then High Street, before entering the Park.

Castle Park will play host to various stages including the Cabaret Stage where various acts such as Tina Sparkle, The Bristol Banshees, Drag with No Name, Cherry Poppin and Kelly Wilde will perform.

The Main Stage will play host to such acts as Sing Out Bristol, Dr Bev, The ShowBears, Denise Pearson, Corona and A1.

The Community Area and market stalls will be the buzzing heart of Bristol Pride and is the chance for people to interact and ask questions from campaign groups, political parties, service providers, businesses supporting LGBT people and Bristol’s local LGBT groups ranging from social to sports.

Pride Night will see the Official Pride After Party being headlined by the Freemasons with Sink The Pink, Harry Clayton-Wright, Circomedia aerial performances, 90s clubnight Another Night, Hi Fashion and DJs from Wonky, Hush and Boom – all taking place at The 02 Academy in Frogmore Street.

Bristol’s normal scene venues will also be carrying on the celebrations, with many organising special nights.
