Roll Up, Roll Up, The Bears Come To Town
With Summer just around the corner, one of Bristol’s big scene events – The Bristol Bear Fiesta, is coming to town.
Each year, the weekends events revolve around a theme, and this year that is a circus themed one. Taking place from 3rd to 5th June, the weekend-long social brings hundreds of guys into the city to sample the local delights and sights as well as some specially organised events.
Bristol Bear Fiesta begins on the Friday evening, and centres around the home for the weekend – the Bristol Bear Bar (known locally as The BBB and ‘The home of the bears’) at the heart of the Gay Village at the crossroads where West Street meets Old Market Street.
For Friday night, The Bristol Bear Bar will open at 7pm and will feature their resident, ever-popular, award-winning DJ, DJ Daddi for the traditional Meet & Greet night of the Fiesta with plenty of time to drink, sing and dance until the early hours as you catch up with your friends and make new ones!
On Saturday after lunch be sure to head to the Bristol Bear Bar where they open at 2pm for the popular Bear Market, which will go on until 6pm, then the bar will stay open as they host the second night of Bristol Bear Fiesta, always a busy night, those joining in the fun are encourages to come dressed to impress in a circus theme such as Ring Masters, jugglers, lion tamers, strong-men etc
