Trowbridge Pride Committee Formed

The realisation of a Pride event for Trowbridge moves a step closer with the formation of the Pride Committee.

Following meetings with various focus groups, Trowbridge Town Council is now assisting the ongoing development of the Trowbridge Pride Committee.

An inaugural meeting was held at The Civic in Trowbridge on Thursday October 18th, where Rebecca Mehsen was elected as Chair, with the position of Vice-Chair being filled by Tara Taylor.

The aim of the Committee is to bring a Pride event to Trowbridge in the future, as well as supporting the wider LGBTQ+ community. The Chair Rebecca said “We are looking forward to bringing and celebrating diversity in Wiltshire”.
