Roseanne Barr says she’s queer in a since-deleted YouTube video

Disgraced comedian Roseanne Barr has said she’s queer in a since-deleted YouTube video.

What happened?

On Sunday, 21 April, Barr uploaded a video to YouTube titled ‘The word “fag” is h8ful-I put the Q in LGBTQ.’ In the video, she criticized the use of the slur f*g and seemed to claim she was queer herself. According to People, the video has since been removed.

‘The word f*g is a really hateful word, isn’t it?,’ Barr begins in the video, which was deleted on Monday.

‘Especially when it’s like one gay calling another gay guy that. Have you ever been in the middle of one of them hate marriages? It’s like, “Wait a minute, we’re not supposed to say that word. How come you’re saying that word? What? Oh, I just can’t say the word. Well, I can when I’m in the house but I can’t say it outside of the house. Okay, I get your rules,”’ Barr continued. ‘But it is a hateful word and you should get rid of it. Get rid of it being spoken,’

‘All that LGBTQ stuff, okay let me just be real. I put the Q in LGBTQ, okay? Because I am queer as two motherfu**ers. I’m queer. I’m alien,’ she stated.

‘I don’t belong here with all these people. They make no sense. They are very queer. And that makes me a queer, I guess,’ she said. ‘I did put the Q in it. Bye.’

Barr’s representation did not return People’s request for comment.

Barr has been married to three men in the past: Bill Pentland, Tom Arnold and Ben Thomas.
