Coronavirus Lockdown Takes Its Toll on LGBT Calendar

Numerous LGBT events planned for 2020 have been cancelled or replanned due to the onset of the Coronavirus Pandemic.

Bristol Pride, which was due to be held in July, has been postponed, with a rescheduled event hoping to take place in September. Swindon and Wiltshire Pride which was due to be held on 8th August has been cancelled.

Weston Super Mare Pride has also rescheduled it’s 2020 event to September 26th & 27th. It has also postponed it’s hosting of UK Pride until 2022 to allow Northern Pride to move their hosting of that event into 2021.

Taunton Pride have also cancelled their planned event for 2020 and have provisionally booked Vivary Park for Saturday 17th July 2021.
