Wiltshire’s Pride Pop Up Shop Goes On Tour

Wiltshire’s Pride Pop Up Shop Goes On Tour

Swindon and Wiltshire Pride’s pop-up shop is set to visit Swindon, Salisbury and Trowbridge as part of a tour of the county in June.

The LGBTQ+ charity will be teaming up with Salisbury Pride and Trowbridge Pride throughout June, starting the tour in Swindon on 5th and 6th June in the Brunel shopping centre, with an opportunity to purchase Pride gifts, pick up LGBTQ+ information and get advice from the volunteers.

Phoenix Stewart, from Swindon & Wiltshire Pride said: “The pop-up space has given us an opportunity to engage with the community and their families, as well helping us to show that it’s always better to be who you are, not what the world wants you to be.”

Phoenix continued, “We are looking forward to meeting the LGBTQ+ community in Salisbury and Trowbridge and really pleased to team up with the 2 other Wiltshire Pride’s for Pride Month. We would like to send our thanks to the Brunel shopping centre, Old George Mall shopping centre in Salisbury and Wiltshire council for their support in making the Pop up shop tour happen.”

The shop will sell a range of Pride merchandise, such as lanyards, mugs, badges and flags with 100% of the profits going back to Swindon & Wiltshire Pride, Salisbury pride and Trowbridge Pride.

The Swindon shop will be open on 5th & 6th June from 10:00-16:00 both days and located in the Brunel Shopping Centre.
