Frogmore Street – Bristol’s “West End”
Frogmore Street, located just off Park Street behind the area known as ‘The Centre’ and the Hippodrome , is buzzing with activity most nights of the week. Lively bars and clubs entice a mixed crowd of revellers looking for a great night out. Head to the Queen Shilling, Bristol’s longest established gay venue, for a great atmosphere on the weekend. Opposite you’ll find OMG Bar and next door, OMG – both providing great music and atmosphere through the week.
Old Market – Bristol’s Gay Village
Located on the eastern side of the city, roughly between the Cabot Circus Shopping area and Temple Meads Railway Station is “Old Market”, where you’ll find the Old Market Tavern which attracts a mixed and friendly crowd. New pubs and bars in the Old Market area include The Gin Palace, Bristol Bear Bar and Old Market Assembly – which hosts many LGBT events. There’s lots of variety provided by these venues so it shouldn’t be hard to find something to satisfy everyone.
