We take over Bristol’s home of theatre for Pride Week to bring you new writing and award winning theatre in conjunction with the Bierkeller Team.

The event is headlined by the sensational Confessions of a Rabbi’s Daughter. Written and performed by Emily Rose, this is the story of Rachel, an Orthodox Rabbi’s Daughter, realising her overpowering feelings for her best friend and flatmate, Sarah. Having been showcased at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival the show has just been to New York, Chicago and LA! We are proud to showcase this original and new piece that explores the often rocky road between religion and LGBT.

Pride loves supporting new talent and we threw open the doors for new writers to submit a piece on an LGBT theme. We had 13 submissions after a very tough round shortlisting we have selected Explosions Light The Sky ‘a moving and sometimes humourous play about a working class family dealing with their son’s homosexuality and his tragic death’ and Joan Of Chorley ‘A witty monologue about an older woman who falls in love with a woman after 16 years of marriage to a man’

Doors open at 7pm with performances starting at 7:30 sharp.

Tickets Available from the Bristol Ticket Shop and Direct from the Bierkeller
