Swindon & Wiltshire Pride Launch Fundraising Website

The organisers behind Swindon & Wiltshire Pride, due to happen on 8th August, have launched a fundraising website.

The Pride event is a free event to attend for all, and 100% of Pride is paid for by donations and fundraising in the community.

Swindon and Wiltshire pride is proud to provide a free event that is open to everyone, organised by volunteers for all to enjoy. The event is a safe and fun environment for members of the community to come along and meet new people and make friends. It also helps to break down barriers and build bridges between the LGBT and non-LGBT communities, it helps to educate and remove pre conceived judgments that people may hold regarding individuals that identify as LGBT and access to many various support services.

The organisers are asking those that enjoy attending the event please consider donating to keep pride a free and fun event for everyone.

Other recent fundraising ventures have included “Ride For Pride” where a group of fundraisers cycled around Swindon, and 2 PSCO members of Unison Wiltshire Police & Justice branch will also be fundraising for Swindon & Wiltshire Pride by attempting a double kayak marathon.
